Indiana is a French lawyer specialised in international relations. Since 2002 she worked in the field of governance, particularly in strengthening the rule of law in post- conflict situations.
After a professional experience within the United Nations in peace keeping operations (Timor-Leste , Afghanistan, Liberia and Ivory Coast) , she worked for several international organisations such as the European Union and the International Francophone Organisation in Africa, Europe and Latin America.

 

During the last 12 years, she participated to a number of electoral operations in around 20 countries. Indiana acquired solid experience in electoral processes in different geopolitical contexts as international electoral observer (Kosovo , Nicaragua, Guatemala, Bolivia, Ivory Coast, Zambia , Sierra Leone, Mali , Tunisia and Ukraine), as expert within electoral assistance missions (Côte d'Ivoire, Iraq, Afghanistan) and as expert within electoral exploratory missions (Mauritania, Moldova , Mauritius, Togo).

 

Since 2008, Indiana is Judge-assessor within the National Court of Asylum, the French court in charge of litigation on political asylum issues.

 

Indiana is also lecturer at the University of political science Lyon Lumière 2 where she teaches electoral observation methodology as well as the challenges electoral assistance and observation missions may be confronted with.
