Sofia joined ECES in 2025 and is a programme and communication officer. She holds a master's degree in International Relations and European Studies at the University of Florence, specialising in European Studies. Her academic journey began in Milan, earning her bachelor’s degree in Modern Foreign Languages and International Relations at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart. During her studies, she also underwent an Erasmus+ semester at Université Jean Monnet in Saint-Étienne, France.
Sofia’s previous work experience includes volunteering with various organisations in Uganda such as AVSI, CARE, and Habitat for Humanity.
