Paulo Marques is a member of the ECES Board of Directors.
Paulo has extensive experience in the field of election observation and assistance, particularly in project management and implementation, financial and budgetary administration, logistics and security. Between 2001 and 2010, he contributed to the management and implementation of more than 27 election observation missions in over 23 countries.
At ECES, Paulo held the position of Programme Manager, working both at headquarters and in the field. He was responsible for providing a wide range of services, from project preparation to procurement and implementation. He has carried out several missions in Africa and Latin America. Paulo is Portuguese. He holds a university degree in social sciences.
Paulo speaks English, French, Portuguese, Spanish, Macedonian and Serbian.
