From 2005 to 2013, he held various positions at the National Bureau of Operations of the Independent National Electoral Commission in the Democratic Republic of Congo. He has been operational pools Manager (Area Manager), National Technical Secretary deputy in charge of pools and projects, Director of Logistics, Director of coordinating relations with international electoral assistance (MONUSCO, UNDP-PACE and others), Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations and logistics issues. In this capacity, he was responsible, in particular, for the design, planning, monitoring and evaluation of elections in particular.
He received several trainings on electoral matters, both, in DRC and internationally. He is a semi-accredited BRIDGE facilitator and LEAD facilitator. He is also a member of the Educational Commission of Centre of Excellence of the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS). He participated in the mission on Information and Evaluation of OIF-finding missions, in evaluation and election observation, in the organization of elections in 2014 and 2016 in the Republic of Congo (Brazzaville), the Francophone Mission information and contacts on the occasion of the presidential and legislative elections of April-May 2014 in Guinea Bissau and participated as observer in the Mission to the DRC presidential and municipal elections in March 2012 in Russia.
As Academic Secretary General of the School of voter education in Central Africa (EFEAC) in partnership with ECES, he participated in the implementation of the online Master of Management in the electoral cycle, the result of a dynamic partnership between EFEAC, ECES and Scytl.
Doctor of Geographical Sciences and graduate of Territory Planning at the University of Liège (Belgium), Kabata Kabamba is a professor at the National Pedagogical University (UPN) and the Higher Institute of Architecture and Urbanism (ISAU) in Kinshasa. He is also a research associate of LAPLEC (Laboratory for the Analysis of Space, Landscapes and European Countryside) of the University of Liège. He was also Advisor to the Minister of Agriculture and Deputy Managing Director of the National Network of Satellite Telecommunications (RENATELSAT) in the DRC.
