Abebe Dagne is a seasoned finance and administration professional with over 35 years of experience in financial management, auditing, project coordination, and training. He currently serves as Finance, Administration, and Training Officer at the European Centre for Electoral Support (ECES) under the EU-funded EURECS II project in Ethiopia, overseeing financial operations, administration, and staff training while ensuring compliance with donor requirements.
Previously, Abebe has held key roles in academia, international organizations, and the banking sector, including Lecturer at St. Mary’s University, Admin and Finance Officer at the Embassy of Canada, Finance and Administration Manager at FHI, and Credit Officer and Auditor at the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia.
He holds an MBA in Financial Management, a BA in Accounting, and a Diploma in Banking and Finance, and has participated in leadership and professional development programs in multiple countries.
