Voahangy joined ECES team in 2015 as Administrative and Finance Manager within the project INCIPALS.

 

Voahangy has an economic background but she also have proven professional experience in the field of cooperation for development.  Since 1989, Voahangy worked in the field of the European Union (EU) cooperation with Madagascar.

 

From 1989 to 1993, Voahangy was in charge of the EU cooperation with Madagascar within the Ministry of Finance. In this role she contributed to the organization of the multiple implementation phases of the EU-MAD cooperation.

From 1993 to 2008, she contributed to the management of an initiative aimed at promoting capacity building projects within the context of the EU-MAD cooperation; she ensured the administrative and financial management of capacity building projects to the benefit of the different stakeholders involved in the EU-MAD cooperation; she managed the transitory phase and lately, after the signature of the project, she ensured the technical coordination of a capacity building project to the benefit of different stakeholders involved in the field of cooperation for development .

 

Since July 2009, Voahangy works as an Independent Expert. In this role, she collaborated, within the context of the EU-MAD cooperation, with professional and institutional networks, projects and programmes implementing partners.

 

From 2013 to 2014 she has worked as Administrative and financial Expert within the EU EOM to Madagascar (European Union Electoral Observation Mission) implemented by TRANSTEC, Brussels.
