Marga Wisniewska is an expert in electoral operations.
From 2005 to 2015, Marga has worked in various electoral technical assignments and has held various positions in the field of elections. She participated in the electoral process in Liberia in 2005, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) in 2006, Sudan in 2009 and the referendum for South Sudan in 2010, Libya in 2013 and Afghanistan in 2014. She also participated in the election observation missions of the EU, as long-term observer in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Zambia and Mauritania.
Marga has followed electoral issues throughout her undergraduate and postgraduate studies, mainly in the context of political transition, democratisation and conflict management. In 1999, she received the title of Master Summa Cum Laudeà Warsaw University, with her work on electoral systems in peaceful political transitions. Marga continued her postgraduate srudies in post-conflict élections and she has just completed her doctoral thesis on the United Nations assistance to post-conflict elections.
