Khalil Zerargui has a long-lasting experience in analysing and supporting all phases of the electoral process and in strengthening capacities of all electoral stakeholders with special attention to civil society. Since 2006, Khalil is the president of the association of electoral experts, in this role he strengthened his professional experience in electoral assistance and capacity building for electoral actors. These professional experiences are mainly related to (post-) conflict contexts (Sudan, DRC, Guinea Bissau, Madagascar, Burundi, Liberia, Togo).
Khalil is a BRIDGE facilitator (Building Resources In Democracy, Governance and Elections). He is also certified trainer in Leadership and Conflict Management for Electoral Actors (LEAD), a specific training programme aimed at strengthening the capacity of electoral actors in leadership, increasing their capital of trust and providing them with the necessary tools needed to take decisions et manage potential conflicts.
In the field of civic and voter education, he has an extensive experience in supporting the civil society organizations to design and develop information campaigns and awareness tools for electoral sensitisation.
