As part of the Outcome Harvesting of the EU Support to Jordanian Democratic Institutions and Development (EU-JDID) project , EU-JDID’s Electoral Assistance Component (2) partook in a OH workshop at the Independent Elections Commission of Jordan on Sunday, 7th of February 2021.

The workshop, which was conducted by external expert Eduardo Trillo de Martin Pinillos, outlined the purpose, main elements and the outcome statement of the outcome harvesting process.

The participatory exercise witnessed the participation of EU-JDID and IEC staff as well as representatives from the EU Delegation in Jordan.

Outcome Harvesting is an evaluation approach in which evaluators, programme managers and staff identify, formulate, verify, analyse and interpret “outcomes” in programming contexts. OH is especially useful for understanding the achievements of civil society and governmental projects, programmes and organisations.
