ECES organised a Leadership and Conflict Management Training (LEAD) training in Lubumbashi in DRC, between September 2 and 6, 2013. In the capital of Katenga Province, this lead training hosted participants from the civil society platform SADC-ESN the local electoral commission representatives (Commission Electorale Provinciale Independante – CEPI), MONUSCO and media.
The LEAD training was jointly organised with the École de Formation Électorale en Afrique Centrale (EFEAC), ECES longstanding partner in DRC, and in collaboration with the Congolese Electoral Commission (CENI). The training involved 57 participants, mainly from the two SADC-ESN MOs in DRC, RENOSEC-ROC and REGED, with different professional backgrounds.
