The European Centre for Electoral Support (ECES), in partnership with the International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF), has just launched a capacity-building seminar on referendum and constitutional litigation and the drafting of judgments in Coyah for the Supreme Court.
The overall objective of this seminar, from 12 to 14 May 2025, is to strengthen the capacities of Supreme Court members so that they can deal with the constitutional and referendum disputes announced for this year.
At the end of the seminar, members of the Supreme Court will have strengthened their skills in methods and techniques for dealing with constitutional, referendum and electoral disputes, as well as their drafting skills in terms of preparing judgments.
Several training workshops have been organised in the past as part of the partnership between the International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF) and the Democracy Strengthening Support Project (PARD-Guinea), funded by the European Union (EU) and implemented by the European Centre for Electoral Support (ECES).
