Strengthening the capacities of Gabonese CSOs participating in the election observation mission (MOE-OSC).
On August 19, 2025, the European Center for Electoral Support (ECES), with support from the European Union, is organizing an intensive training course on techniques for drafting press releases, preliminary statements, and election observation reports for civil society organizations that are members of the election observation mission (MOE-OSC).
This training will strengthen the technical and operational capacities of CSO members of the EOM in preparation for the legislative and local elections on September 27 and October 11, 2025.
Specifically, this training aims to equip EOM members with techniques for:
- drafting EOM press releases
- drafting EOM preliminary statements
- drafting the EOM final report.
This training is organized within the framework of the Project to Support Civil Society and the Media for Inclusive and Transparent Elections in Gabon (PACEM - Gabon), whose main objective is to strengthen the democratic environment in Gabon and help prevent potential electoral tensions by supporting non-governmental actors (CSOs and the media) to ensure an inclusive, credible, and peaceful electoral process.
