In the framework of the Projet d’Appui à la société civile et aux Médias (PACEM – Gabon), funded by the European Union, the European Centre for Electoral Support (ECES) is supporting the organization of a reflection and capitalization workshop on citizen electoral observation in Libreville. This event brings together key Gabonese civil society organizations (CSOs) involved in the observation of the presidential election held on April 12th 2025.
This workshop is held over two days from 22 - 23 May 2025, and aims to discuss the observation missions conducted by CSOs during the presidential election (MOE-OSCs, ROC, TLP, SOS Prisonnier, Women Go for Peace, La LUNE, and others), consolidate best practices, identify challenges encountered, as well as formulate concrete recommendations for future electoral cycles.
Through thematic sessions and open dialogue, participants will share experiences and contribute to the development of a common roadmap to strengthen the effectiveness and impact of electoral observation in Gabon.
