The overall objective is to contribute to the development of democratic processes in ECCAS countries, particularly in Burundi, Cameroon, Gabon, Chad, DRC, Equatorial Guinea and Sao Tome. The project aimed at developing the capacity of electoral management bodies in ECCAS countries, especially in view of future elections from 2012-2014. Most activities have been mainly implemented by the Electoral Unit ECCAS supported by the Electoral Training School in Central Africa (EFEAC) and ECES.
