The Master of Electoral Policy and Administration (MEPA) is a unique opportunity to further equip the staff of the National Electoral Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) through enhanced electoral knowledge, and to ensure that they are better positioned upon resuming their activities once the pandemic peaks down. These enhanced skills and knowledge will greatly contribute to the conduction of free, fair, and credible democratic elections.
The Executive Coaching approach used in the MEPA is based on implementing the master through the comparative experience of EURECS-Ethiopia experts from ECES, the Forum of Federations, and GOinnovation. This approach will allow enrolled students to follow the online modules while receiving continuous coaching from the project experts through online communication platforms such as Zoom, which will further enhance the personalisation of MEPA to the Ethiopian context.
These online training are part of ECES' hybrid and face to face capacity development developed amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
