ECES in Guinea Conakry!

ECES is proud to announce the launching of its new Project in Guinea Conakry: PARCAN - Projet d'Appui à la consolidation de la démocratie en Guinée à travers le Renforcement des Capacités de Gestion de l'Assemblée Nationale.

This EU funded project aims at the consolidation of the democracy in Guinea through the strengthening of the management capacity of the National Assembly. The PARCAN project will start in May and develop until September 2014. The project follows the identification and formulation mission implemented by ECES experts, Eliane Torres, Capacity Development Adviser and Alain Andriamananony, Head of Finances and Operations, from 21 to 28st February.

Leaded by Dominique Weerts, Head of Project and Parliamentary Expert, the team is delivering technical support and capacity development activities to contribute to the strengthening of two management units of the National Assembly: the Human Resources and the Finance & Administration.

The ECES team will initially supported by Jarreth Merz. In occasion of the celebrations for the European Days on 9 of May 2014, Jarreth Merz, popular filmmaker, will present his movie An African Election.
