In the framework of the EU-funded Supporting Democracy in Libya Project - SUDEL, ECES organised a Leadership and Conflict Management Skills for Electoral Stakeholders (LEAD) training of trainers, in order to increase the involvement of Libyan stakeholders’ in the democracy building process through the development of Codes of Conduct.
The trainings took place between November and December of 2012 and between March and April 2013, and were organised in five major cities: Benghazi, Zliten, Zawia, Derna and Ubari;
A total of 587 people were trained, while they also discussed the challenges faced by CSOs.
