Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie
In 2012 ECES and the Organisation International de la Francophonie (OIF) entered into a partnership with the aim of contributing to the OIF project “Accompanied Electoral Processes” (“Accompagner les processus électoraux”) and to collaborate in the field of electoral support in francophone countries.
This project is geared towards supporting the development of free, reliable and transparent elections by providing support to all stages of an electoral process.
To this end the OIF supports:
- National Electoral Authorities in order to promote their independency and effectiveness during the organization of electoral processes
- Electoral Observation activities
- Electoral Disputes resolutions activities
In this framework, ECES and OIF cooperated together in the delivering of several missions and capacity development activities in:
- Gabon
- Madagascar
- Guinea Bissau
