Mbolatiana Raveloarimisa is a geographer and urban planner. She is currently the coach of the radios coalition for consolidating peace and she is also in charge of communication within Search For Common Ground (SFCG) in Madagascar. Mbolatiana holds a master degree in geography and she has 8 years of working experience.

 

 

She has strong and proven experience in the field of urban planning in Madagascar. She has contributed to a number of urban planning projects within the urban municipality of Antananarivo in partnership with international donors such as the Municipality of Paris and the Ile-de-France region. 
She played a crucial role in promoting the participatory approach in regards to multiple projects’ stakeholders (beneficiaries, vulnerable groups, local and traditional authorities, private firms, donors….).

 


Mbolatiana worked several years for the Cabinet Rafanoharantsoa where she contributed to a number of big infrastructure projects.

 

Playing a very active role within the Malagasy civil society, Mbolatiana also collaborated professionally with a number of NGOs in the field of good governance, human rights, peace and democracy promotion, support to citizenship, women and youth participation and social approach within the mining sector.  She is an activist in the field of human rights protection of autistic children in Madagascar. She is also member of a number of associations involved in the promotion of charity, human rights, peace and youth civic participation. Supporter of non-violence and direct actions, Mbolatiana is a founding member of a civic movement based on citizen awareness and responsibility.
