Silvia de Félix has been involved in election observation and technical assistance as media expert and press and public outreach officer for the past 10 years. She hasparticipated in 19 election observation assignments from 2005-2014, including serving on 15 Election Observation missions as media expert and/or press and public outreach officer, one Election Expert Mission and Election Follow-Up Mission as media and political analyst (Egypt 2014 and Bolivia 2013) and 6 EU EOMs as a short, medium or long–term observer. Silvia has performed her electoral related professional activities with the European Union, OSCE, The Carter Centre and the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Silvia is a journalist and a communication expert. She holds postgraduate studies on European Union Affairs by the University of Zaragoza (Spain). She has worked for the main Spanish media outlets and she has been correspondent for El País in Turkey (1999-2000) and for the EFE Agency in Brussels (2003).
